Entertaiment
The act of entertaining; agreeable occupation of the mind; diversion; amusement: A ball is an entertainment.
According to Bates and Ferri (2010), entertainment is understood objectively, involves communication between text and audience from an external stimulus, offers pleasure, requires an audience for its existence and occurs in a passive form. It is a complex concept with many different interpretations and can be seen in a wide range of cultural productions and social contexts. The examples we have chosen are designed to illustrate current usage of the word.
