Entertaiment is the term used to describe any type of activity that provides amusement, enjoyment and/or recreation. It can include watching movies, TV shows or series, listening to music, playing musical instruments or going to concerts. It can also include reading novels, short stories or poetry, playing sports or video games and engaging in visual art activities. Entertaiment can be experienced on a small scale, such as with a personal entertainment system or a dinner for two, or on a grander scale such as a performance intended for thousands of people.
Entertainment often hits on the deepest parts of our psychology. Whether it is social backstabbing, murder or sex; the brain was evolved to deeply react to these themes.
