Entertaiment means to provide an enjoyment, a sense of amusement or elation. It takes you to another world in a state of euphoria where you forget all your worries and wish that the moment lasts forever. It can range from a private entertainment experience to one that involves hundreds or thousands. It can be playful (through games or sports) or serious (through ceremonies, festivals and satire).
